Markeaton Park, the city’s most-visited outdoor destination, will host the first-ever TK Maxx presents Derby Summer Sessions.

With its excellent transport links, proximity to the University of Derby, and serene character, this idyllic setting promises to create an unforgettable experience for 15,000 music lovers and artists next summer at the debut of TK Maxx presents Derby Summer Sessions.

Fri 12 Jul—Becky Hill (with special guests Jax Jones and Caity Baser) TK Maxx presents Derby Summer Sessions, which kick off with the multi-BRIT Award-winning Becky Hill, a pop powerhouse with a reputation as a pioneer in electronic music.

Becky is known for her distinctive voice and hit collaborations in the dance-pop genre with everyone from David Guetta to Little Simz over the last decade. She has written and performed on seventeen UK Top 40 singles, including five Top 10 singles and a UK Number 1, amassing over 4 billion streams on Spotify alone.

DJ and producer Jax Jones and pop provocateur Caity Baser joined Becky Hill on the Friday night. Jax Jones is celebrated for his fusion of house, dance-pop, and electronic music, with a career marked by hits including the BRIT-nominated "You Don't Know Me" ft. Raye, "Breathe" ft. Ina Wroldsen, and "All Day and Night". Beyond his captivating rhythms, Jax Jones’ pioneering contributions to music boast eight UK Top 10 singles and over 10 billion global audio streams.

Also joining the bill is Caity Baser, swiftly rising as one of the UK's most exciting pop phenomena and a BRIT Award nominee; she’s set to charm the audience with her provocative and catchy tracks. Baser’s "Pretty Boys" and "Feels This Good" promise to bring an unforgettable start to the festival.

Sat 13 Jul—Tom Jones (with special guests Gabrielle, The Selecter, and Kezia Gill) Welsh legend Tom Jones will captivate Derby on Saturday with his powerful voice, which has enthralled audiences worldwide for over six decades.

Penning timeless classics including It’s Not Unusual, She’s a Lady and Sexbomb, selling over 100 million records and continuing to be esteemed and influential in the music industry. Sir Tom’s career has been filled with numerous honours and accolades, including a deeply cherished knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, multiple BRIT Awards, a Silver Clef Award, the Music Industry Trusts Award and a Hitmaker Award. He has cemented his place in music history as one of the most successful artists ever, traversing musical eras and genres and appealing to all genders and ages.

Gabrielle, The Selecter, and Kezia Gill will also grace the stage on Saturday. Gabrielle emerged in the early '90s with her soulful voice and decade-defining hits, including “Out of Reach". With 30 years of her multi-platinum-selling single Dreams, Gabrielle has surpassed over 50,000 ticket sales for her tour.

The Selecter, led by vocalist Pauline Black, are renowned figures in the 2-Tone ska revival movement, famed for their socially and politically conscious music, including hit “On My Radio" which showcases their blend of ska, punk, and reggae.

The line-up for Saturday is completed by local Nottingham-based artist Kezia Gill. Known for her voice of the blues, Kezia will also perform at the first-ever TK Maxx presents Derby Summer Sessions with hits like "I’m Here" and "Whiskey Over Ice".

Sun 14 Jul - Madness (with special guests Rick Astley, The Lightning Seeds & Deco) Fans will enjoy Madness on Sunday during the world-class weekend of live music. The iconic British band has delighted fans since the late '70s with its infectious blend of ska, pop, and new wave.

Like Our House and Baggy Trousers, their hits are synonymous with their quirky and upbeat style. They have cemented their status as one of the UK’s most beloved bands, with a legacy that continues to delight fans of all ages.

Joining them is Rick Astley, a global pop sensation in the late '80s whose era-defining classic Never Gonna Give You Up has topped charts worldwide.

The Lightning Seeds, known for their melodic and cheerful indie pop, are also set to perform. They will dedicate the iconic football anthem, Three Lions, to the world.

Deco will also join the party, delivering 80s synth-speckled contemporary pop hits.
