Derby's newly refurbished station is a great way to get into the city. But be prepared for a short walk.
To get to Derby by train you will need to buy a ticket to Derby. There is only one station for the city so it shouldn’t be too difficult. The station is served by a few major train operators, the main one being the East Midlands Trains which operates the Derby to London route. The shortest time from London to Derby is 1hr 30mins.

The station is served by the famous Derby ‘Yellow’ Cabs but if you want to save a few pounds walk over the road and up to Albatross Cars.
