Micropub located in Loscoe serving an ever-changing selection of real ales along with ciders, wines, soft drinks and traditional pub snacks. Situated on main road in the village and easily accessible via Loscoe bus routes.
One Derbyshire village that is benefiting from the micropub phenomenon is Loscoe thanks to the opening of The Tip Inn.
The micropub has one main room with plenty of space, as well as separate smaller areas towards the rear that could be used for smaller gatherings such as birthdays. The inside is bright and light with some pleasant interior touches including some interesting historic photos of Loscoe.
There is a good range of drinks available at The Tip Inn with ales, ciders and gins.
For ale drinkers there is a choice of up to 6 real ales available as well as up to 3 keg beers.
Cider fans are well catered for with over 10 different ciders and perrys available.
For those who love Gin are in for a real treat with more than 10 different gins available along with a selection of gin liquers.
Also available are whiskeys, spirits, wines and soft drinks. For snacks you have crisps, nuts, pork pies and cobs if you fancy a bite to eat.
I often look forward to seeing new micropubs open up in Derbyshire and it is pleasing to see new venues open up in different locations.
Naturally, I was impressed with this new micropub for several reasons including a good choice of ales and friendly staff.
I’ll no doubt be paying another visit to The Tip Inn sometime in the future.
