Derby’s Cathedral Quarter has recently see an increase in openings of interesting new food & drink establishments, nicely complementing the pubs, bars and restaurants that already operate in the area. One of these newest venues is craft beer shop Suds & Soda, located on Friar Gate.
Suds & Soda sells a vast range of craft beers for both on-site and takeaway.
There is a choice of up to six beers on tap, a selection of bottled beers (both from the fridge and the beer shop), spirits, wines, soft drinks and snacks.
When I visited Suds & Soda on a typical Saturday evening there was a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of bar-goers enjoying some interesting brews. There were friendly and helpful staff were on hand to advise me on the best tipple.
Along with fellow craft bar Hop Gate, Suds & Soda offers something different from other drinking establishments in the city.
