Enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in the fantastic and historic surroundings of Derby’s largest and last surviving coaching Inn.

Built in 1650 it was once considered to be one of the most prestigious Inns outside of London.

At the center of Derby’s historic Cathedral Quarter, on the popular Sadlegate, the Old Bell offers a unique eatery with a wide selection of traditional real ales, the largest selection of whiskies in the city as well a huge range of craft and speciality lagers and ciders.

Having recently undergone an extensive restoration, the interior with many original features, makes The Old Bell a great pub, meeting place and event venue. Whether enjoying the sun in the courtyard or sitting by a roaring fire in the Tudor Bar on a cold winters night you’ll find what you’re looking for at the Old Bell.

They enjoy a huge range of traditional real ales, the largest selection of whiskies in Derby as well a huge range of craft and speciality lagers and ciders.
