Bustler Market, Derby’s monthly street food market, located in-between the Intu & Train station, is switching things up and bringing back its much-loved markets in a different format to keep in-line with the latest government guidelines.
From the end of May, fans of Bustler will be able to get their fix by heading down to 7 John Street, Derby, and collecting a main and a dessert from 2 specially selected traders.
Most notably known for their monthly food events, Bustler have turned to this new format, in the midst of the current situation. Eager to provide customers with delicious take-out food whilst also supporting the trader’s small businesses, Bustler will be operating an In n Out take-away regime. More information on how this will work can be found on Bustler’s website, which is also where slots can be booked for collection. You can find out more about which traders will be serving at these new Bustler events on Bustler’s social media pages.
“It’s great to be back to a certain extent! We are hoping by being able to provide some yummy food, people will somewhat be able to recreate the Bustler experience that everyone is missing at home. We will also have beer to take away, to make the experience even more like a classic Bustler. We’re creating Spotify playlists also – with all the usual Bustler bangers for people to listen to. We’ve been planning this for a while now and it was important for us to be able to support the traders, especially with the pressure the hospitality industry has been put under recently. Sadly, these new events won’t have the same feel as our classic ones, but we hope that people will come out to support Bustler and co and we cannot wait to see our regulars again – from a distance of course!” says Andy Darke, Bustler’s Event Manager.
